Easy To Assemble & Waterproof
, 02 12th, 2009
Have fun camping without having to spend a lot on your gear. A Big Country tent is a durable and affordable piece of outdoor equipment. It has heated seam tape covering the stitches for water proofing and fiberglass poles that are very easy to assemble.
This wonderful tent comes in two types. A three-season tent with lighter and cooler materials is designed for warm camping trips. Its ventilation system is much cooler due to the ample mesh materials that allow air to pass through easily inside. The four-season tents are for high altitude climbing trips. Here, the materials are thicker and much stronger to enable it to withstand high altitude winds and extreme temperatures.

Camping is a wonderful way to bond as a family. Kids will definitely enjoy camping. You don’t have to go into the woods to camp. You can even enjoy your own little camping adventure right in your backyard.
All it takes is a High Peak Dome Tent that is easy to set up. This is perfect for novice campers. Kids will enjoy sleeping in a tent. To make it more memorable, build a bonfire. If that isn’t possible, bring along some food and have a picnic outdoors.
Have Fun In the Shade

Ah Lake Havasu… The deep blue waves shimmering in the sun, the sharp peaks of the burnt-brown mountains looming over the sandy beaches, and the warm kiss of the fading sunlight on your back as your boat cruises back towards the dock. All these memories can be ruined, however, if you forget to apply sun screen at the beginning of the day. The 110-degree heat of an Arizona summer can burn even the hardiest of sun lovers to a crisp in just a few hours without the proper sunscreen.
Though sun block is readily available and easy to apply, many people forget to use it. If you are one of those unlucky souls who spent a day innocently soaking up the UV rays, only to wake up the next day as red as a freshly-boiled crab, than you should consider spending the next couple days sitting under a shade canopy. No one wants to stay in their hotel room or cabin all day when they could be outside enjoying sunny-day festivities. Shade canopies are easy to transport, and can save sun-burn victims from spending their vacation indoors.
My Kid Loves Fly Fishing Too
, 08 22nd, 2008
The first time I took my daughter out fly fishing, I had butterflies in my stomach. It was a tradition that my father and I loved to do at least once a month. My father loved fly fishing. He didn’t even like eating that much fish, but he sure did like fly fishing.
My daughter was reluctant at first. A young girl waking up at the crack of dawn, getting out into the wide open woods when you haven’t had too much familiarity with it can be a difficult thing. But she took to it right away, and I’ve added a camping element to our trip with some great high peak sleeping bags.
